Gardenos Beach

The beach of Gardenos in Corfu is a hidden gem, one of the island’s less-crowded shores, located 40 km southeast of the island's Town. The long beach is recognized not only for its lush green setting but also for its tranquil atmosphere. The shallow, crystalline waters provide safety to young children and make the beach an ideal place for all types of visitors, such as those who seek some privacy. Additionally, it is covered in light golden sand. It got its name from a small stream that flows into the sea, splitting the beach in two.

Several sunbeds and umbrellas to rent are provided at the central part of the beach, while more adventurous visitors can stop by the water sports centers of the area. It can be easily accessed by car and plenty of parking space is available. It is also worth visiting the taverns overlooking the blue bay after a refreshing swim in Gardenos.
